Winbox 3.11 - No Neighbors Discovery via IPv6

Hi,

I just installed a new laptop and when I ran Winbox 3.11 I noticed that all my MT devices on the LAN were discovered via MAC, IPv4 und IPv6. But when I look on my Workstation I find the exact same devices are just discovered via MAC and IPv4. I already deleted the Winbox configuration from the respective user directory, but that did not help. I do not have IPv6 configured, all MT devices and computers are running on fe80 addresses.

Why could it be that I get no discovery via IPv6 on the Workstation?

Ok, same Laptop, I have a working discovery in terms of IPv6 addresses as soon as I am connected via Wifi, on LAN just IPv4.

Anyone?

I’ve encountered this with my winbox as well, it’s always in the back of my mind. I found another post on here about the problem…I’m going to try the suggested pinging from a host on my network and see if that helps.
