WinBox 4.0beta30 on MacOS 26 Tahoe issue

It used to work like a charm, but recently WinBox seems to not see a network. I believe the issue appeared after macOS upgrade to macOS 26 Tahoe.

Meanwhile, WinBox is not listed in the Security & Privacy in the Local Network section. So I cannot provide an access explicitly.

The host as it is accessible from the browser with no issues.

When i comes to this problems, I always delete the settings from the app.
Sadly I don't know where WinBox hide's it's settings on the MacOS version.
On my Arch Linux Install, when I start Winbox from the command line I get some hints where it stores the settings.

[patrik@archlinux mikrotik]$ ./WinBox

Maybe you can do the same from terminal, to get the info.

Same symptoms.

I just updated to Tahoe and I have the same problem.

The user data is in “/Users/{username}/.wine/drive_c/users/{username}/AppData/Roaming/Mikrotik”

Unfortunately deleting it did not resolve the issue for me.

  1. close all instances of Winbox
  2. copy the Winbox 4 App to /Applications if not done already
  3. in the Applications directory, rename Winbox to something else, e.g. Winbox → Winbox4
  4. start Winbox4
  5. the Grant access to local networks popup should appear
  6. click ok
  7. done

To enaable

To enable after latest MacOS update WinBox to see a network, you have to do as follows:

Go to Settings–>Network–>Firewall–>Options–>Block all incoming connections (turn it off)–>WinBox.app (Allow incoming connections)
