Winbox 4 - menu feature request

Dear Sirs,

happy to test winbox 4 on debian linux 13 but is there a way to display menu as in old winbox?

I mean open IP > it’s a mess you need to read both orizontal and vertical, with a vertical list it was more readable:

Also please add “New Winbox“ button at the bottom.

Thanks you!

It's already there:

Also, try the Alt+F shortcut, and you'll see fewer needs to waddle in left menu

He is asking for it to be added to where it was in winbox 4 not that it doesnt exist.

I don't like it so near the Disconnect button and would prefer it on the left hand side as well.

Nah, although I disagree with many placement choices in WinBox 4, the placement of "New WinBox" in the left menu like in WinBox 3 is actually illogical and out of place. That left menu list is reserved for items for controlling and setting up the RouterOS device.

"New WinBox" is a feature unrelated to the control of the router, only to the WinBox application, and should not be mixed among the menu sections of RouterOS. Things controlling the WinBox application / session / windows belong now to the top menubar.

Left hand side has "New Terminal" ....... mic drop. Im out.

And? It's actually for controlling the current RouterOS device. The Terminal is nothing else than opening the / RouterOS menu of the current RouterOS device.

Thank you ALT+F is awesome!

It is but I wondered why export didn’t bring back anything but then I realised there has never been a menu item for export? Bit odd that??
