For some reason winbox (4beta13 windows, win10) causes cursor stuttering when I hover mouse over left vertical navigation panel or central window horizontal scroll bar.
Task/resource manager tells that winbox process ocupies heavily my gpu (upto 20% if I hover cursor in and out quickly over mentioned ui elements). Should I tweak my graphics card in some way or just wait until this solved with winbox updates
I also face same issue, I think next update it’s will be solve, Now I using WinBox 4 beta 14, Also have few issue as well
How to reset winbox 4 configuration ?
From many bugs of this application, one of them causes opening the next windows higher and higher, after all, it is impossible to see the interface.
Interesting things also happen when Winbox opens with the login window in which entries are currently coming
. This usually closes the application.
I found some solution:
“Another method(which works from an old version like Windows 98, up to a current version like Windows 10), is one could activate the window then do alt-space to bring up the window’s menu, then ‘M’(which stands for ‘move’) , and use the arrow keys to move the window more within view”.
I have the same issue with mouse stuttering, every time, but not limited to, when I move a window inside of winbox, the mouse laggs for a second or two. Sometimes the whole screen flashes rapidly, its really annoying… I have windows 11. I’m not observing this behavior on my other computer which still has windows 10.
Im seeing this on winbox 4.0b21.
I tried to force using igpu/discrete gpu for winbox, no difference.
Not sure if its any relevant, but the laggy environment has 165hz screen and mouse is also overclocked to 500hz.
Strangely, winbox is the only application that I have seen to have this problem.
