Winbox 6.17 spontaneously reordering firewall rules

Winbox 6.17 running on Win8.1 x64 connected to RB2011UiAS-2HnD, also at 6.17

  1. Navigate to IP → Firewall → Filter
  2. Select any rule in the list
  3. Click the grey filter icon (looks like a grey funnel) to show the filter dropdowns
  4. Click the first drop down (has the word “Action”) to see the list of available choices
  5. Click the same drop down arrow again to hide the list of available choices

Watch as whatever rule you had selected flies up to the top of the list. If rule 0 was selected, it’s moved to the bottom. I consider this bug to be a critical security bug - reordering has the potential both block desired traffic as well as allow unauthorized traffic.

Can anyone else confirm?
