Winbox access issues

Hi all,

We are trying to setup an RB 2011 to run a hotspot from.

The hotspot is working perfectly and, once connected to the hotspot I can gain access to Winbox without any hassle (this is on the 10.0.0.0 range and is off eth2). The problem comes in when I connect on the ADSL side of the mikrotik (on the 192.168.1.0 range, the mikrotik is connected to an Adsl router through eth1), I am connecting to a Tenda router via wifi and I can ping the mikrotik’s IP address from my PC. When I open Winbox however, I can’t connect to the RB and it doesn’t pick the RB up. There is another RB on the same network range connected to the Tenda and I have no problem accessing and configuring that RB through Winbox.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Hi,
I’m not a pro, I’m amateur but this is what I think:
As I understand it, you connect via eth1.
Check the settings:

WinBox:
Tools - MAC Server - tab WinBox Interfaces
or
Terminal:
/tool mac-server mac-winbox print

It interfaces that can access WinBOX.
Add the correct port.
