Has anyone encountered any problems with winbox and windows7 64 bit?
I have a fresh install of 7 and now my winbox seems to lockup if I have the program open for too long.
The problem seems to be when I connect with any of my routers (all different models) the same thing happens.
I have Windows7 64Bit and haven’t seen any issues. Make sure you don’t have window manager, or addon program that interferes with Winbox. Also check any firewall and antivirus programs that might be scanning it, and disturbing the connection.
I’ve checked those..everthing is fine.
How many items can you have in a list on a 450g? Now that I’m thinking back I was getting swarmed by the happy people on the internet who have nothing better to do. Right now my list of blocked IPs is at 13K
do you have them in the ‘address list’ or as individual rules? use the address list.
I have them in a list, I only have a 7 filter rules that are being used.
I may have part of the problem. I’m logged in remotely to it now and it seems to be ok. The machine Im on is an XP machine.
I’m showing periodic cpu spikes on the 450G at 34% normally its 2-4%

Well I found my issue.
1 person doing file sharing. He had so many connections open it was killing the router. He got banned and everything is back to normal. I guess I should have checked there first.
