Hello Specialists,
I’ve recently bought my first MikroTik (a RB2011) and I’m having trouble accessing it with WinBox via IP-address.
I’ve followed the following steps:
1 - connected RB2011 on ether10 to PC’s ethernetport (Win7).
2 - started Winbox → selected MAC-address from the list (only 1 entry).
3 - after logging in, in Winbox IP-> address, added 192.168.0.1/24
4 - closed Winbox
5- started Winbox -selected IP-address 192.168.0.1
6 - Winbox then tries to connect to this address, but fails to complete.
I’ve tried several ports on the RB2011 and several IP-address-ranges.
I’ve also tried this with deleting the (standard) configuration after logging in in step 3.
I can’t seem to get going with my MikroTik.
Suggestions anyone?
