Several years ago I noticed that after some RouterOS upgrade WinBox started to disconnect suddenly.
Now it seems that I found regular dependence:
When any client is connecting to the router and gets IP address per DHCP, WinBox is disconnected. Lease time doesn’t have any influence.
Any fixes?
RouterOS 6.43.1 on RB2011UiAS-2HnD with firmware 6.43.1.
It happened also on many other previous versions.
This seems related to your network setup or configuration.
Explain how you’re connected (wired, wireless), your client (Windows, mac, linux), network adapter, Winbox version, method of connection (via ip or via mac).
Also router config, e.g. /ip dhcp-server export or /export hide-sensitive entirely if possible.
