I have been trying to figure this out, here is the situation.
Setup:
RB1100AHx2 as main router
Ether1 = WAN
Bridge = ehter2,ehter3, ehter 4
Bridge IP 172.28.0.1/30 on same bridge PPPOE Server with IP 172.16.0.1/20
First IP is static for radio maintenace and second for PPPOE Clients.
When I connect via my pppoe connection and I click ob the discvery “…” tool I cant see any of my radios, but if I disconnect and have no IP address meaning I get the 169 default address and run the discovery I can see all radios in my LAN.
I tried to do static routing between both networks but it always says unreachable. I am not sure if I am doing the static route wrong or not..
I tried to create it couple of ways,
Dst Address 0.0.0.0/0 gateway 172.16.0.1/20
Dst Address 0.0.0.0/0 gateway 172.28.0.1/30
Dst Address 172.16.0.0/20 gateway 172.28.0.1/30
Dst Address 172.28.0.0/30 gateway 172.16.0.1/20
But it does not work… I started wondering that this could be because both ips are on the same interface, but I am really not sure.
Any ideas?
