I am trying to complete my dude map with all my devices, but when I reach a certain point, winbox quits working. I can use tools to web into each device, but the winbox feature quits working? So I usually import my last backup and it begins working again. Has anyone ever encountered this? I am not sure what to do, and hopefully someone out there has seen this behavior before.
I am assuming you add a device and then the dude seems to lock up, Don’t do anything, wait a few minutes and see if it starts responding again. Close the window for the device that caused the stoppage. Delete the device and then click the undo button.
No, it adds the device perfectly. It comes up quickly and I can ping it and web into the mikrotik cpe, but I can not winbox into it. I have around 300 devices at the moment, if I delete any newly added device, winbox works great. Its like winbox quits working when I add the 301 device. I dont understand, I thought it might be a connection limit queue or something, but I do not have it set for the ip of the dude server. Any ideas, thanks
Sorry I don’t know I am only using The Dude on a windows server with no agents and no MikroTik ROS devices.
Hopefully someone else will jump in and know what the trouble might be. More detail about the exact setup may help.
