Winbox double click issue

I often get an undesired drag&drop effect when opening 2 or more Winbox instances. The procedure is:

  • Open a Winbox, connect, and open subwindow that allows drag&drop (eg: firewall filter).
  • Open another Winbox, but don’t connect yet.
  • Place the Loader window so when you click on a stored session there’s a draggable element from the first winbox below.
  • Double click on the stored session. (Press-Release-Press and don’t release).
    About half of the times you end dragging an element of the Winbox window below (that can be dangerous!).

Tested on winbox 2.2.11 (and previous versions too), Win XP SP2.

I think I experienced it like once.

I try never to double click on anything when using Winbox. I prefer to highlight what I want, and hitting Enter on my keyboard.
