Winbox error

In a particular location I am using a Win 98 SE box and when I try to use winbox.exe I get an error ‘Missing Router OS WinBox Plugins’. Now I know it’s not my Internet connection as I have a laptop here with XP Pro and plug in to the network here and Winbox works just fine. I have another Win 98SE at another location that can use Winbox.exe just fine. It only seems to be this one system… I have flused the Winbox cache, deleted all addresses, deleted and re-obtained Winbox, all to no avail.

Anyone got any ideas?

I read the previous posts in the archives - there never was an answer given to this question. I have tried this on several different Windows boxes and it works except for two boxes. I have removed and restarted Winbox several times now to no avail on these two CPUs.
I noticed when using WINE that Winbox downloads the plugins and that they are in a compressed file format (I don’t remember what that format is right now) but I suspect that somehow what I am downloading is not being de-compressed correctly (if at all) and so can’t be found.
Okay MT what are the files named, where does Winbox try to put them?
It almost seems obvious that this CPU keeps trying to use a cached or the previously downloaded files (plugins) which are corrupt… So how do I get rid of the previously downloaded plugins?

Well I found the answer to this problem… Remove the Mikrotik folder (Windows 98 ) from the “C:\windows\application data” folder. Appearently one of the downloaded files for Winbox was corrupt, Winbox does NOT redownload the files each time you try to access it. MT - You could have said something about this - I would have deleted the files and the folder right away.
