Winbox login through VPN

I’m trying to find a way, how to log in via Winbox to Routerboard which is in another network where I can connect through VPN.
The network behind VPN has address 10.15.1.0, netmask 255.255.255.192. When I was installing Routerboard I set IP address 10.15.1.38 in Routerboard and I can’t connect. Routerboard doesn’t respond to ping requests. Why? I can only connect via MAC address when I’m phisically connected to this network.
How can I connect through VPN right now?
Any help?

You can use 1.2.3.1 for the pptp conecction of your routerboard and 1.2.3.2 for your PC, and later you’ll conect to the 10.15.x.. your router will have one virtual IP 1.2.3.1 that will be your router… and the same router will have a 10.15.x IP. Perhaps you’ll need to add a route in your PC.
In MSDOS it will be something like: route add 10.15.x.0 netmask 255.x.x.x 1.2.3.1

I hope it helps!

Problem solved. I didn’t set network mask on routerboard. I set only IP address, network address and broadcast. When I added network mask everything starts working properly.

Just do the address and CIDR notation. Winbox will autofill the network/broadcast.
