winbox neighbor discovery not working on aruba ap

hi,
i’ve upgraded my house equipment to aruba instant aps (iap-207, iap-305, iap-515).
they’re setup as easy as possible with just 2 wifi networks in pure bridge mode with no vlans or anything fancy - just 1 ssid for 2.4ghz and 1 ssid for 5ghz. (aruba calls that employee access network, unrestricted profile).
since then - in winbox i don’t see any of my mikrotik stuff.
everything works, i can connect to all my mikrotik devices if i specify their IP in winbox, but the discovery is not showing any device.
it’s the same on any pc or laptop as long i’m on aruba wifi.
as soon i connect to my old tp-link ap, winbox show all my mikrotik devices again.

what kind of protocol is winbox using to find neighbors? what should i check in the settings of aruba aps? there’s a lot of options to setup, i just left most of them on default.
thanks

UDP port 5678 broadcast

gotcha.
had to disable broadcast filtering.
thanks

Yup… That Aruba stuff is not meant for the home by default.

Many consumer level devices rely on broadcasts… The complaints came in fast when one team flipped to Aruba instant for residential.

Aruba is a travel destination… stick to MT.

Anav,
Why? Aruba instant wifi models are bad?
