Winbox netinstall on a Mac

Hi,

I 've noticed that its not possible to run netinstall on a Mac, however winbox can run fine as there is a dmg file.

Drag n drop functionality is not supported yet or not ?

Have you studied the pxe boot prerequisites? I would say it needs ip address…

I think he means “Macintosh,” not “MAC address” (see reference to “dmg file”).

I thought I’d try the same thing today, since I had a spare x86 Mini hanging around, and wanted to try the new Dude without having to invest in a CCR.

You can use WineBottler to run Netinstall. This is the same technology that we use to make the Winbox DMG.
