Winbox not accessing RBwAP2nd over ethernet connection

Hello everyone, I’m new in this forum (and to Mikrotik) and I’d like to ask about an odd behavior from a RBwAP2nd, after the initial setup using Winbox 3.11 everything works normal, but after a while if I try it access the unit through Winbox via the ethernet port I get a “could not connect” error either using the unit’s IP address or the MAC address. If I connect my computer directly to the WLan, then I can access it. The unit is running the RouterOS 6.38.5 and firmware 3.34.
I also have an RBwAPG-HacT2HnD unit which does not present the same behavior. I’d really appreciate some insight about this issue.
