Winbox: router has been disconnected

Hi,

I’m using a RouterBoard 532 with version 2.9.42.
When I start WinBox I keep getting the error message:
Router has been disconnected

This happens about a few second after it has read the config.
I can make normal connections with FTP, Telnet and HTTP but not with WinBox.

I tried secure and unsecure but that does not seem to matter

Does anybody have a clue?

Has it been working and stopped? Fresh install? Try rebooting? Are you getting to it via IP address using Winbox or MAC (on same LAN)?

Yes, it has been working in the past. I have reset the config via the web interface.
I’m getting to the router using MAC with a direct cable (not via a switch).
