winbox service default port

Hello,

I changed the winbox service default port via ip->services command but when I tried to connect via winbox client to the mt box where the changed was applied I noticed that the connection attempt was still toward the old port and the connection failed. The routeros sw version is 4.13.

Any idea why the change was not effective ?

in winbox loader you have to specify exact port you entered under ip->services. You should note that any service that has its default port will connect to it if you are not supplying program with alternative.
