Brand new - I just installed routeros on an x86 machine to demo it before buying. I have a T1 and would like to connect the routeros to it for internet access. I have ethernet 1 plugged into a switch and my laptop plugged in too using Winbox. I can access the routeros program from the laptop but don’t know what to do from here. Using the 2nd ethernet port I would like to connect to an AP. I am using Winbox since I have no Linux knowledge and haven’t a clue how to set things up. I have been a wisp for 1 1/2 years but liked what I had heard about Microtic. Is there any documentation for the operation of Winbox? It looks like I need a step by step to figure out how to setup authentication and DHCP.
