I purchased a Mikrotik RB951Ui-2HnD Indoor Wireless Router and I installed winbox on my computer.
Whenever I login to winbox and click on Quickset the software shutsdown.
I need to access quickset to enable me configure my router for internet access.
Any ideas pleaseeeee!

What does it mean “shut down”? Winbox crashes and closes? Did you download the newest Winbox version from mt.lv/winbox?
Also try to upgrade RotuerOS too.

Winbox crashes whenever I click on Quickset and the version of winbox is 3.18 downloaded from mikrotik website.
I also have this version of RouterOS routeros-mmips-6.44.3.npk
Well, you never need quickset, it is just a convenient way to quickly make some settings (and a lingering danger after that).
You can make the same settings using the normal menus.
You may wish to delete some (or all) of the junk that gets stored in the %appdata%\mikrotik\winbox folder.
