Winbox Suite "All in one"

What do you mean about that?

  • One version that combines all programs in only one?
  • Or as it is today with many smaller programs?
  • Should it be native available for Linux, Windows & MacOS?
  • Or should it be as it is, as a Windows only version?

Hello I was reading in many threads even again and again that some of the users, customers and clients
wants to see a native running version of Winbox for Linux, Windwos and MacOS. What are you thinking?

Otherwise many of them want to combine all smaller programs in a big one, with all other programs inside
acting as a so called suite. Do you think it is a good idea to go this way or should it be as it is now?

Peoples give me your votes, please.

+1 ,
but all this is possible to do in a website.

to do the winbox stuff:
(install java)

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\winbox]
@=“URL:winbox Protocol”
“URL Protocol”=“”

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\winbox\shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\winbox\shell\open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\winbox\shell\open\command]
@=“java -classpath C:\winbox Winbox %1”

and put winbox.exe and the java class in c:\winbox (java-class need to be unrar’ed from winbox.rar)

then you make a url like:

winbox://username:password@ipaddress/
Winbox.rar (988 Bytes)

Hello samsung172,

many thanks for that, I will try it out at the weekend.

There is The Dude!

The Dude has many management instruments, and it can be used for central and all-in-one tool for multiple RouterOS device management. But i think The Dude is not finished and there is many things that can be added to it.
