Is there alternatives to Winbox for ubuntu 10.04?Or another method to open winbox

I used Wine to open winbox.exe but no success

what do you mean by “no success”, explain further. it works fine for other people

there are no alternatives .. what problem exactly you have with wine? We are using it on 10.04 without any problems.

Oh I see.
I need to choose open with wine from the right click menu. I thought I just need to souble click in wibox since it has glass of wine on it.

pick “open with other…”, choose wine and check “remember application association”.
Next time you double click on winbox.exe it will be executed.

Guys,

I was able to installed both wine and winbox to my ubuntu 10.04 lts which worked for a while and then stopped working…

I am able to access the winbox by allowing it as .exe to run with wine, it work well as i said but stopped..

What could be the problem or what can i do to fix the problem?
