Winbox v3.19 released!

What’s new in v3.19:

*) fixed problem where Winbox could not login into RouterOS v6.45 (or later) router;
*) fixed DHCP lease sorting by “last seen” column;

If you experience version related issues, then please report them to support@mikrotik.com.

Winbox is available here:

If you try to upgrade directly from Winbox loader and version is not available, then you might need to wait for a while until cache in path between your device and our servers is refreshed.

well done,it works perfect

Updated on OSX (Wine) thru tools menu,
works fine

The “last link up/down” times are still reported incorrectly (in the future).

+1000
Mikrotik team said earlier, that this is “some cosmetic” bug.
Next, next, in future updates, i think.

Work fine. Thanks mikrotik

What shortcuts? Where? Your link also doesn’t explain what you want

I just dream about winbox, with optional shortcuts, custom shortcuts & etc.
Also native LINUX winbox would be awesome .

We (network admins) I think very rarely using windows OS as main OS. IMHO.

Winbox can be easily used on *nix systems.

I never said it cannot be.
I wrote NATIVE…

First try daily manging about 300tiks with windows and afther that the same type of work with winbox throug wine (let’s say under ubuntu).
If you will find no difference, you have some weird perception problem.

I also have weird perception problems. Works identical on Wine and Windows for me.

But sure, I also prefer native apps.

P.S: fun fact, RouterOS developers develop Winbox “Wine first”.

P.S: fun fact, RouterOS developers develop Winbox “Wine first”.

I get it. I appreciate it.
BUT :
there is grag&drop problem (winbox sometime freeze after d&d; tested od multiple distros //with kde, gnome, mate..// and also with multiple versions of wine)
font problem
speed “problem” (winbox is not exactly slow on wine but is MUCH slower than winbox in windows)

As I said earlier, native linux version would be GREAT, I believe I am not alone with that wish.

I don’t have such issues. Maybe some environment problem

rushlife:

  • you can resolve font problem easily, when you install fonts to the wine using winetricks, don’t forget to recreate wine prefix to use new fonts
  • I have no issue with speed
  • drag and drop for me work only with direction from the desktop environment to the “wine winbox”. The opposite direction (from winbox to the kde/xfce) not work for me. Try to copy files while logged using ip address, not mac address.

Guys, I am using wine, linux, mikrotik and all of that stuffs since roughly 2008 or so…
I known all of this tricks and thx for helping but this is exactly that reason for make native app (winbox).

All of this little things are annoying. Especially when you work with this tool 6 or more hrs daily.

Very soon will all distros drop 32b libraries and dependencies. Wine is big pile of software (64+32+fonts it is around 1GB of data,) just for one small binary file (winbox, 1600KB).

Yes,I known, windows is major os on pc world but it is not OS for this sort of craftsmans (admins, network specialist, it experts, …). I kinda thinking mikrotik deserve your own mgmt app in each platform.
Especially when we already have android and ios version…

No flame pls, all of this is just MHO.
Sorry for my poor english.

Too identical, I’d say. I have to use Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V instead of ⌘+C/⌘+V on MacOS

Yeah, only that.

Right click on the file and choose “Download”, problem solved.

Can it be addressed? Even MS Remote Desktop client translates ⌘+C/⌘+V into Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V automagically
