what’s the difference?
Winbox is for windows. For all other operating systems - use Wine
i would like to note, that winbox is made in a way so it works on wine without problems. sometimes it is working on wine even better than on native ![]()
dude and wine has been working perfectly until the 3.1 release,
Does anyone else have problem with dude 3.1 and wine ?
Thanks, i will run wine on it and will get back!
I think that Winbox 2.0.8 is the most compatible version with Wine. The last one does not work properly.
what problems you have with the newest winbox? as i cannot name any. That is why i am so interested in it.
latest wine + latest winbox = no problem ![]()
latest version of winbox and wine is no problem, but i have som difficulties with the 3.1 release of dude.
Pls i need help on how to intall wine on linux linpus os, to run winbox and dude. i have downloaded it and the linux see it as .bin. i cannot go further, pls help.
this is not a linux forum, please ask in the forum of this linux distro. are you sure you need to use linux, if you have troubles installing wine, which is not even the most complicated software ?
I know this is not a Linux forum, but all i need is using winbox with linux. Not that i wanted to use linux as you put it, i bought Acer One which came with linux os, i intall windows bcos of winbox, but it is not stable with it and i was advice to restore it back. So i have no option other than to make winbox work with it. Pls help if you can.
Wine 1.0.1 running on Ubuntu 8.10 desktop works just fine with Winbox 2.2.14.
