If rule has an option to show traffic graph, it should also have an option to show exact conections affected by that rule (onemeasured for traffic). It would be very helpful to investigate what happens when things get complicated.
Torch does not meet this needs as it shows connections in totally different manner (based on interface and very limited way of filtering).
Logging does help, but it does not offer any mean of filtering and when one has to monitor several rules, it gets to complicated to follow lots of log items coming from different sources in short time.
