I have the 2.9beta16 installed on the RB500 that I just received.
This is my first time on 2.9

I try to enter via telnet, and this is ok.
But when trying via winbox (the one I use on the 2.:sunglasses: I receive an error: cannot connect to port 8291.

where is the problem ?

and also when connecting through the serial cable, I can see the system start up, launching services but then I dont receive on my teminal screen any login… but at the same time if I try to enter via telnet it works.

if someone has any experience on it???

You need to download and use the new version of WinBox from the router.

I have been looking for it for a long time, but from where can I download the winbox?

http://<router_IP>

that should pull up the mikrotik splash page where you can download winbox.
