windbox can't find router

hello,

I have RB750GL router. My windbox on PC can’t find my Mikrotik router.

  1. If I plug the Mikrotik directly to the PC, everything works well.
  2. If i plug another router between PC and Mikrotik, I can see IP address is set and I can ping the Mikrotik
    When I try to connect the Mikrotik using windbox, router’s Led blink once, but windbox cant access it…

I did checked another router’s setup and didnt fint any problem. The firewall on the PC also disabled…

Any ideas please?

if you want to reach to router (A) , you must bridge the interface (ether1) that connected to router (A) with the interface (ether2) connect to your pc in the main router (B).

router A < —ether1---- router B ----ether2—> PC

Are you trying to access the MikroTik with winbox using MAC address, or IP address? MAC will not work, as it is router network now :slight_smile:. If ping works - then Winbox should be able to connect to the IP address :slight_smile:.
