Windows 10 Notebook can't reach web behind hotspot

Hi

A recently installed RB433UAH hotspot (6.34.1) using capsman v2

A user with a Windows 10 notebook doesn’t obtain the login page

There is no password to connect to the Wifi network, just hotspot authentication

My iPhone 6 has no trouble connecting, my Dell Windows 7 XPS notebook is fine,
other users seem ok too

When I watch the router’s activities during his connection attempts I see his Intel Wireless interface connecting and obtaining an IP address, but the hotspot login page doesn’t come up

Tried navigating to http://www.google.fr, or the hotspot’s IP address without success

Added static DNS entries hotpot and hotspot.net in the DNS parameters: no difference

What is weird though is that when I look at the connections in the firewall settings his address creates connections incrementally i.e. before attempting to connect, I had 122 connections, then while he was trying, the number of connections shot up to just below one thousand - all belonging to his notebook address

I will go to the client’s site tomorrow to get a closer look

Any ideas ?

thanks
yann

I removed the hospot and redefined it: OK

How do you mean you redefined it? I am having the exact same problem just with Windows 10. The hotspot opens a browser but doesn’t redirect to the login page.

Hi

I deleted the hotspot configuration (except for the user list) and then executed the hotspot setup
