I have several CF’s that had the basic MT software installed on it. I am now trying to completely erase the card and start from scratch. No matter what I do I cant seem to completely get rid of the old program. The old software ID continues to come back. How can I wipe the CF card and start with a fresh setup?
physdiskwrite.exe will nuke all sectors on the flash (including any licensed version you previously had along with the key). Check the main MT download page for instructions and a link.
why would you like to get rid of your license? you will have to get a new one. if you want to start from scratch, simply do a system reset and upgrade to latest version.

I have a CF that has expired on the upgrade and is a Sandisk. It will work only in a regular pc with the adapter but not in any RB. When it boots it goes thru the boot and system start and then just sets there. It will never come up unless it is in the PC.
