Hello Forum,
I’m stuck with Wireguard.
I have configured both the Router and the MS Wireguard App.
The Wireguard App manages to create the tunnel to the Router but I have a pretty strange behavior on the Windows Laptop:
1- The default gateway on the laptop isn’t set.(0.0.0.0)
2- The subnetmask is wrong: 255.255.255.255
When I’m querying the DNS via nslookup to the Wireguard Router IF, this doesn’t give me any name.
But I can ping the Router Wireguard IF.
I have followed both NetworkBerg and Mikrotik videos which are pretty clear I understand.
I would truly appreciate some help as I’m really stuck.
Thanks
Laurent
Typically people use a DYNDNS name/url associated with the public IP of their network. It could be you are behind an ISP router etc…
A free one available is your IP Cloud on the router ( my netname )
So for endpoint and port you put into the client device peer settings
