Wireguard reconnection problem

Hi,

I have on both sides 7.4 ROS

Normally, one Mikrotik router is Wireaguard server listening on 13231 port, and other is a client connecting to this remote port.
Tunnel sometimes works for days without disconnecting and everything OK, and then suddenly It stops and It’s not reconnecting.

I have tried on both sides disable of Peer and even disable a wireguard interface, but not helping.

At the end I found out strange workaround,… If i change on server side listening port of wireguard 13231 → 13232 and then on client side I also change Endpoint port 13231 → 13232,
a Wireguard tunnel establish a connection immieimmediately , and then again I return on bothi sided 13232 → 13231 and everything normally works :slight_smile:

Have anyone is having a similar experiences ?

Without seeing the config of both MTs (full config) just hide any public WANIP info.
Hard to say.

A. are both IPs publicly accessible?
B. are the IPs static or Dynamic?
C. Do the connections suffer from power outages?
