Wireless advance channel implementation in OS ver 6

Am trying to implement “Wireless advance channel” in routerOS version 6 using guidelines from this link “http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Wireless_Advanced_Channels” but is not working. Has anybody being able to implememt it, if yes, how does it work and what is the requirment.

You have to email MT-support about this, you will need to sign up for a special license. After license update everyting will work.

Here is some info:

Thanks czolo, i have sent the mail and my account has being upgraded but when tried to re-implement it, it still doesn’t work.

What i actually want to achieve is to broadcast multiple frequency with a single access point so that client radio can connect to any of the frequency. i dont know if this is what " advanced channel " is meant for and if it is please kindly explain how to go about this if possible with images.

Thanks again.

Hi
Please explain what do you mean by “multiple frequency”.

According to the mannual, the access point wireless interface is configured to operate with a center frequency which could be “standard center frequency” or “Non standard center frequency” as long as your wireless interface support it and currently only Atheros AR92xx does support the “Non standard center frequency”. Now if i scan on my client radio i should be able to see frequncies between the “lower cutoff frequency” and “upper cutoff frequency” depending on which frequencies are configured on my Advanced Channel list on the client radio, unfortunately nothing is showing on my scan interface. So how do i go about this?

So is the special key required to get V6 to run in normal superchannel mode? Are V6 superchannel and V5 superchannel compatible?
