Wireless AP / Hotspot Combo?

Im going to try to explain this the best I can, It’s a little confusing…

I would like to enable an AP-bridge only for MAC’s manually added to the access list. Then bridge the private and WLan devices so that I can use internet applications as well as browse the network.

In addition to this… I would also like to run a hotspot that will operate with the MAC’s not in the access list, and be brought to the hotspot login page. At witch point, depending on the login, access to the network, internet or both are granted.

Am I dreaming or is this remotely possible, This Is something I have tried to illustrate to help my self out , but i really need some input on this.

Any help is greatly appriciated.

It would be best to have two APs. One AP is possible if you do some tricks. We have virtual APs (multiple ssids for on radio - Atheros only), but Windows has some problems showing the multiple ssids for an AP with only one MAC address. We will improve this in the next four weeks (nstreme package) so that we will show an individual mac for each ssid – then you can easily do what you want if you use an Atheros interface (5212 or 5213).
