I recently purchased Netgear WNA1100 as its chipset (Atheros AR9271) was in the supported hardware list. It is detected by Mikrotik but it is not Running (R). I tried the AP configurations but failed. Please help. I think it should work with it as mentioned in Mikrotik Official Site. Posting thje Config Screenshot.
srijit92, please, help me!, tell me please where you consulted the list of supported radios, I really need to know that information, but in Mikrotik support still nobody help me, so, that´s the reason coz I was shocked when I read that you find this “supported hardware list”.
Though I managed to run the WiFi Dongle after some modifications. I'm facing a new problem now. Firstly I want to ask what should I select in the antenna section? My WiFi Device is Netgear WNA1100, atheros AR9271 based.
The problem is that, when I'm just beside the AP, I can connect to the AP without any problem. The Signal on my phone was -37 dBm.
But as soon as I move a few feet away like 5-6 feet the signal strength was good (-50 dBm) but I cannot connect to the AP. Even if I'm in previously connected state, I cannot ping the AP.
Another notable thing was that when I moved about 10 feet back keeping my phone pointed to my AP, the connection was perfectly Ok, a slight movement terminated the Ping though I got good signal (-57 dBm).
Please suggest me a solution to this strange problem. Following is my Interface Settings
