Wireless bonding of 2.4 and 5ghz connecting to the same Access Point

Hi Everyone,

I have a NETMETAL 5 with a 2.4 Ghz card in there.
The RB922 is in CPE (customer premise equipment) / Bridge Mode / Station.
The AP it connects to is not manageable. We don’t have access to those.

Now, both frequencies (2.4 and 5 connects to the same AP).

Is there a way to bond the two bandwidth on a Layer 2 level. And then create a virtual Ethernet interface with a DHCP client.

Just so it sends data via both stream for faster speed. Like one L3 route to both frequencies? (if it makes sense)
I want thru bonding. Not load balancing.

Thank you

D

You have to set both set both sides accordingly for bonding. Having no access to one of them means no bonding.
