This is a new one to me, maybe somebody has seen it before.
I have a client that has three XP pc’s with Motorola USB wireless adapters, WU830G.
They were connected to a DLink router and using WPA-TKIP.
Router wasn’t working up to par so I tried putting in an RB433AH with XR2 configured same as DLink.
The pc’s connected to the wireless and less than a minute later the pc’s would reboot.
Now I have three pc’s continuously rebooting.
Tried changing channels, removing encryption, changing radio card (R52) and a different RB433, NO JOY.
There is nothing in the event logs on the PC’s indicating what happened. No IP conflicts.
There are two other pc’s wirelessly connected but not using the WU830G’s for wireless and they connect fine.
What do I need to do to get the Motorola WU830G to connect without rebooting???
Hoping someone has seen this problem before.
I hooked the DLink back up for now.
