wireless connection error

hi there,

i am staying at a place that having free wireless provided. as the signal into my room is not good enough, i try to connect my router (RB931, RB941 and RB952), but all of them gave me an error message “failed to connect, on 2427/20/b, association failed: does not support all basic rates (18)”.

can someone point me the problem souce ?

Did you try to set a country ? I’ve seen that clients couldn’t connect untill i’ve specified what country on station.

Hello

The message suggests that you’re so far away that you cannot achieve the lowest basic rate of the ap and that the ap is refusing you connecting requests.
