Please can we have an update on the http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Wireless_Debug_Logs
document with the explanation of the several messages when working with nstrem links or using the NV2 protocol.
I already saw (NV2) the following messages;
AP:
“disconnected, control frame timeout”
“disconnected, not responding”
“disconnected, disabling”
“reconnected”
“connected”
Station:
“disconnected, control frame timeout”
“disconnected, not responding”
“lost connection, control frame timeout”
“lost connection, synchronization timeout”
“lost connection, midium-access timeout”
“failed to connect, on AP-xxx, synchronization timeout”
“reconnecting”
The Wiki manual urgently needs an update with possibly a diagram that shows the different protocol related messages for similar wireless problems.
Also off course an explanation what certain message really means (What triggered the message?) and what possibly can be done about it.
In troubleshooting links this is important info but it is soooo hard to find. Most (not all) of these are somewhere already discussed and explained in this forum but the info is slowly sinking in the amount of messages written about the wireless issues.
This week I can start to make a diagram but first need feed back on the several messages.
