wireless-fp and -cm2 problem rb951ui-2hnd / ros 6.36

Hey there, would appreciate your help.

Just updated rb951ui-2hnd to current stable ros 6.36 and got this lame problem:

  • wireless-cm2 won’t enable (presence of -fp?)
  • -fp won’t enable and uninstall (dependencies?)

Tried to install -cm2 and -rep (chaotic night decision okay) and here what it looks like now:

Packages DO mark for installation or enable but after restart return to this state.

Got a fine tuned config, so I don’t consider a full reset.

Try deleting or disabling the wireless-fp package. It is not supported in v6.36.

Yep, marked for uninstall, but after reboot it remains there disabled.

That’s normal if it is part of the “Main Package”. You can only disable it.

Try disabling “wireless-cm2” and enable “wireless-rep”.

If you are worried about not losing your configuration you should make a backup file then you can restore you current configuration after a reset. Just go to “Files” and click on “Backup”, name the backup and check mark “Don’t Encrypt” and click the Backup button.

Marking for uninstall and to enable do not work. After reboot status stays the same (1st post).

You can’t uninstall wireless-cm2. You can only try to disable it.

Try downgrading to 6.34.6. Wireless-rep wasn’t in use then so that should be eliminated and you should have only wireless-cm2 and wireless-fp packages. If they are both disabled try to enable wireless-cm2 . If wireless-fp is enabled then disable it and enable wireless-cm2. If you get cm2 enabled then upgrade to v6.36. You should end up with only the cm2 wireless package.
