Guys,
Has Anyone of you ever used the WI24 Access Point series from Wireless Interactive Communication Inc.?
if so, how many users can that AP handle simultaneously? and how its immunity against interference and noise?
I’d like to know as much info about it as possible - so I would appreciate it if you could drop me a line here about ANYTHING you know related to those APs.
thanks in advance,
Atheer
hello Atheer,
Wireless Interactive AP (external) is very powerful in dealing with users connections in severe weather conditions especially heat (which is concentrated on Iraq during summer time) , we tested it with about 45 online users and it was great. its price as you know about 700-900 $ locally with warrenty, and you may consider that if its damaged for any reason it might be difficult to recover it again. we never faced interference problem with it.
Thanks a million Infozone for your prompt reply.
But have you checked its FCS error rate? I am facing a huge amount of packet FCS errors, moreover the deferred transmission packets, retry limit exceed, and multiple retries are huge as well so I begun to suspect the AP.
As you know, 2.4 GHz Access points try to reduce the bit rate transfere from 11 Mbps down to 5.5,2, or even 1 Mbps when they encounter interference or noise problems–and that what I am facing nowadays, My clients connection speeds start with 11 Mbps and it did not take longer before they dropped down to 5.5 ,2 , or 1 Mbps.
I have tried to change my channel band but it seems there was no or slight difference.
one thing more–I noticed that when the number of concurrent online users increases I got some No-Buffer error about 2 to 3 (this issue as I know related to AP memory).
I would be thankful if you could help me with this case…
guys–drop us a line here, who knows it could be your line which will solve the issue
