Wireless interface not running / roaming

I have two wAP (one inside, one outside) and am wondering why when the first client connects there is a 5-10 second delay?

I presume this is because the wireless interface is not in an active state when no clients are connected, but this is causing issues with roaming between the two.

  1. What’s in the LOG?
  2. 5-10sec delay is slow enough to follow in winbox via ethernet or other WLAN. How long does the wireless registration take before it appears in wireless/registration?
    3 Just wondering … Check if it is the WLAN interface or the (R)STP on the bridge, “hosts” table on the bridge, or the DHCP lease process.
