i recently installed two Metal 2SHPn one is configured as client/cpe the other server/ap to serve as wireless bridge they worked fine for the past couple of weeks and suddenly stopped
looking at the web gui found that the wireless interface does not have the R sign in front of it unlike the bridge and ethernet
can someone help please
This indicate your wireless link is not created. Scan from station side to be sure you can view the AP.
this setup worked for weeks wonder what stopped the wlan interface
i changed roles, the ap bridge set to client and client to server and it worked
hope it will last more weeks now
Don’t know exactly what model router board u use. On the older once, 433 they had a way of disabling the WIFI it self. Normal the same once that did it and was very rare. Eventual wrote a script that checked, if the WIFI was disabled it just re enabled it. Have nod found any thing like that on the SXT, but then again. The script is loaded as default on our panels.

this morning i discovered that the wlan1 interface is missing the [R] in front of it unlike the ethernet and bridge interfaces and no connection to the other device/lan
disabling and enabling the wlan interface changes nothing, when i run Scanner all neighboring ssids are displayed
any idea what makes an interface stop ?
