Wireless issues

Anyone else seeing this issue?

RB/333 with 3 R52H or 3 Ubiquiti SP2, or 3 Engenius 600mw (not sure model #), only 1 active on channel 1,6, or 11 (tried them all). 7dbi omni antenna.

AP/Bridge mode, single wlan to ether1.

Single client connected, tx/rx rate starts out at 54Mbps and will stay there or slightly lower, 48/36, will get 20+mbit/sec transfers, works great.

Every minute the modulation goes down to as low as 2Mbps-SP, and slowly climbs back up. If change preamble to Long things work slightly better, no SP modulation.

I have disabled periodic calibration (seems to be the only thing the is set to 1 minute).

Any assistance would be appreciated, we have tried everything w/o much luck.

Thanks.

Hi,

seems R52H has a problem with periodic calibration:

Today a segment in one of my APs failed. The segment can
not be seen by clients doing a scan. Doing a scan with this card
I can see other APs. Disabling/Enabling the card does not help.
Changing the Antenna-Gain (change tx-power) up and then down
brings this segment to normal work with a normal signal.

The problem arises at the time the sun comes out on a
cold morning (-17 Celsius).

Had a similar problem on another AP with R52H.

The other cards (R52) in the same AP work flawless.
It seems TX-Power is calibrated down unusable on this
card.
