I have a short answer on you and it is where I can get list of joined clients to my AP it means MAC-addresses and info about clients and second thing is data rates (packets send and received to AP and clients).

do u see the list of clients in ur “registered clients” in winbox. right click on each one to copy to access list. u can also select wht options to see in the registered clients. like tx/rx rates & tx/rx bytes etc. enable mac authentication n mac accounting in ur security profile to allow only those users to connect which r on the access list. u can also manually add clients to access list.
Thx sure. But I need this to use in telnet to make script which will gather this informations because winbox is ok but for bachelor work I need to make script for console which will do it.
So you told that I must put the clients to access-list to view a traffic statistics and I cant get informations if any unknown client join the AP or there is a possibility to get this data even if clients are random?
u can get the tx/rx data for registered clients list even without having an access list. i am used to winbox..never handled a mikrotik with telnet
