Wireless link going down

Hello everyone, i need some help here… I have a 30km link, on one end there is a RB532 with a XR5 card, and the other is a RB133, with another XR5.

The first time we setup the link, everything was Ok, we reached -57 of signal strenght, but now it keeps disconnecting.

We have two solid parabolic dish antennas, 29 dBi…

I have some logs with wireless, debug enabled in both sites.

The log on the remote place says the following:

wlan0: must select network
wlan0: no network that satisfies connect-list, by default choose with strongest signal
wlan0: failed to select network
wlan0: delaying scanning
wlan0: STA starts scanning
wlan0: STA scan over, results:

Then it shows 5 or 6 networks, none of mine, and then it starts the scanning again…

When I use the Scan tool, on winbox, on wlan0 propertys box, I’m able to see my ssid, and it shows up with -57 ~ -60 of signal…

Could it be noise?? There are many 5.8Ghz networks

Noise Floor?
CCQ?
Ack?
Configuration?

I am having an eerily similar issue, about the same distance, same cards, same boards - same symptoms.

Take a look at my thread.

We solved the problem using 5Mhz band, our troughput is only about 3Mbps now, but it is enough for us.

Our noise floor is -97dBm, SNR is ~40, overall CCQ is 89~97% now.

Our setup is a WDS.

ACK is set dynamic, and the value right now shows 68us.

The link has 3 days and 2 hours uptime after the 5Mhz band selection, before this the link was falling down every 2 or 3 minutes.

We still don’t know what was the problem on normal band setup, but we can’t investigate too much since this link is now in production with client traffic.
