I configured my home router with 3 VLAN (LAN, IOT, GUEST) and use user manager to mac authenticate the clients. The dot1x have a server fail VLAN id option, what work properly with cable conected clients. If connect one unknown client with cable get ip from guest VLAN and can use internet, and when connect one known client get ip from another VLAN what i setted in user manager. That’s great.
I want to use that solution in wireless authentication too. If the user manager has information from the wireless client can set to the right VLAN to the client, and working well.
The problem is start here. But if the client is an unknown the user manager drop out the client immediatelly. I don’t find option in user manager to add that client to the guest vlan.
Someone use similar solution like this, maybe he/she has some helpfull information? I say many thanks if share it.
