I’m new in Mikrotik devices… I have try one last week and was awesome, so I bought my own RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN.
In settings I just changed WAN to eth10 because of POE. Other setting regarding to WiFi was default, I just change Network name, channel to 2422 and change security profile WPA2 and set password. It was OK at the first time after setting up… but in the morning Wifi was still disconnecting, and I couldn’t reach internet. When I try to connect to the eth6, all works fine. Also try to manage the router through the wifi is impossible, still reconecting, Wireless setting didn’t remember security profile name, it do not offer any profiles even the default is in place. When I try to save configuration, wifi crashes and I have to restart the router manually.
Last thing I have noticed … on the borrowed one, when I tried to scan the wireless channels, everything works fine. On my new one, the wifi module crashes every time and also have to restart manually.
I made the update on the last versions of Firmware and OS that RouterBoard offers.
Have you any idea what should get wrong or the device could be possibly wrong one.
