Hi there,
I need your help to fix my problem with the wireless in my office, we use UniFi controller access point but i noticed that it is about a couple of months that most computer clients can connect to the wifi access point but it seems a flash connecting to it (a few minutes off and reconnect the wifi again). This is so annoying for working in the environmental office you know.
So, my question is whether it related to the version of routeros and wireless in the package list or not? Its version is 7.16.1 in current.
Another question is that do I need to update the latest version now (7.18.2)? is it ok at the moment for this latest version?
Thanks in advance for your help.
What exact hardware is used? So far it looks like a Unify wireless network, therefor it confuses me what the relation with RouterOS is.
In regards to upgrading…check the changelogs to decide wether or not you should upgrade. What is the main reason for you to not upgrade?
The main reason is that clients are always disconnected the wifi frequently and they need to connect it again or reconnect it by itselves, so we never faced like this since the setup unifi controller.
Have you tried disabling Band steering on the UniFi controller?
Yeah…or ask this specific question on the Unify forum?

I felt like an interloper on their forum among fanboys who were pretending how perfect and flawless UBNT is
so I kinda get it.
