I am looking for some noob friendly settings guide for wireless( my provider is 1000/1000) so I can use maximum of my internet via WiFi. I have no knowledge at all how to set it for optimal use.
My router is mikrotik router board hap ac
hAP ac can’t route at 1Gbps full duplex, it’s realistic maximum is around 300 Mbps half duplex over wired connections and even less over wireless due to CPU load caused by WiFi. To get full speed, you’ll have to use a more powerful router, such as hAP ac² (which just gets there over wired connections) or RB4011. RB4011 has (on paper) much better wireless than both hAP ac and hAP ac² and you may be able to get more than 500Mbps over wireless (with client device supporting that kind of speeds and ideal radio conditions … neither are common in reality).
